How can I nominate myself for a role?
In order to submit your nomination, please either email hello@rclibdems.org.uk with your name, membership number, position(s) you are standing for and the name of two nominators, or, return by post the AGM Invite to the included address.
In order to vote for, stand and serve, on the Executive, you must be a fully paid up current Member of the Liberal Democrats.
How much time will I need to commit?
If elected, you'll need to commit a couple of hours per month for Executive Meetings. These will usually take place in the evening or on weekends.
Some roles involve actively contacting Members, or require special data training, which the outgoing officer (if unelected) will explain.
Other roles may involve special committee meetings, but you will be spoken to about this after the elections have completed.
Honourary Officers may spend less time on work, but are able to attend Exec meetings and may be invited to attend special meetings.
What roles are up for election this year?
11 Seats are available on the Executive of Redcar & Cleveland Liberal Democrats, which will be elected at the AGM via a secret ballot if contested.
